Would you believe that Pure Local just had its first birthday celebration?! That’s right, it’s been a whole year since our founder Al created this boutique concierge agency out of a passion for helping people experience the best that Cape Town has to offer.
A lot has happened since then (besides the copious consumption of champagne ;). We’ve expanded our incredible team, got a brand-new website in the pipeline and will be taking the business to Ibiza in 2020 baby!
And we would love to involve you on this journey. Pure Local is built on the firm and unyielding connections of community, we’d be nothing without YOU, so please read on to discover how you can join us…

Making the distinction…
As our business has grown we’ve had to prioritise what we’re best at, and enjoy the most.
This means a move away from the everyday tasks of the travel agent to the otherworldly achievements of the luxury concierge.
Whether it’s a booking at La Colombe (TOMORROW!), a ticket to see Nadal get sweaty on the courts or a private helicopter charter to the archipelagoes of Mozambique. All you need to know is that we make it happen.

Introducing the Marketing Whizz-Kids…
Hey, that’s us! And we’d like to introduce ourselves. We’re Sam & Lucia, and we’re helping Al and Josie build Pure Local into a global brand, bringing people together around the joy of magical moments and transformation through travel.
As part of this mission, we need your help! Over the next few months, we’re going to be collaborating with/interviewing and promoting some of Pure Locals most sought-after spots in Cape Town.
SO, if you have any recommendations of exciting experiences, magnificent locations or spectacular people we’d like to hear them. And don’t be modest either, if you’d like to get involved yourself then please hop on board!

Part of our lovely Lucia’s new role is curating one of the most enticing insta-feeds in the city. Think exclusive pre-opening insights, luxury destinations and cutting-edge events. We really want this to be a space that adds value.
And to pop things off we’re hosting a competition in collaboration with one of our favourite sommeliers @theswansomm to celebrate international champagne day (on the 20th of Oct).
Upgrading the Insta-Gram…
The winners will enjoy a day of opulence as they’re privately guided through the Cape wine region indulging in a number of wine-pairings with a special focus on MCC (Methodé Du Cap Classique)
